Our honorary member, Bill Larman APAGB, sadly passed away on Saturday 8 February.
Bill started his ‘official’ career at Shillington Camera Club as Vice-President in the 1972/73 season. This was followed by two years as President (1974/75 and 1975/76). He then became Honorary Competition Secretary in 1976 and held that position until his retirement from the committee in 2008. We remember him fondly and with gratitude both for his 36 years’ continuous service to the club and to amateur photography.
Bill’s contribution to the club and inter-club liaison, including a Federation exhibition, was recognised by the APAGB in 1997.
Well done Ray
