Welcome to the Shillington and District Camera Club website
Thanks to everyone who came along to the Christmas Quiz and made the evening such a success with Ampthill being the victors.
I'm sure that the smell of mulled wine and mince pies put us into the festive spirit.
After a well-earned break the season starts again on Monday 9 January with a showing of images from the EAF Exhibition Portfolio 2011.
This is also the closing date for our 'Open' Panel of Three PDI Competition on 16 January although John will accept e-mailed entries until 13 January. Please remember to present all three images as shown in the Christmas Newsletter.
As St Ives knocked us out of the second round of the Melbourn Trophy on 12 December there will be a change to our programme for the coming year. On 27 February we will have our Portraiture Evening with Mark Burley and Daliah from 42 Ltd will also bring her inkjet papers along for us to buy.
David's talk 'Where on Earth' has therefore been switched to 19 March.
Staff at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital have thanked us for displaying members' photographs which have cheered the out-patients department up.
Our next display will go up on 27 January so please bring along some prints to the club which you can spare for a couple of months.
