Epson UK lecture on printing and colour handling

Julian gave us a blow by blow account of how everything works from Epson's printers right through to their scanners and even the cartridges.It was thoroughly entertaining and occasionally surprising. Overall the corporate sell was a little on the heavy side and some of our members were wearing glazed expressions by the time we got to the break!
Mostly though - we were surprised at the level of detail provided and enjoyed it. The explanations of why you would buy the different units Epson supplies did make a lot of sense and gave us a much clearer insight as to why we should buy a specific model.
The extended paper range that Epson now supplies was particularly interesting. The range has been extended and I for one will now buy some of these papers online at the recommended website.
The shear quality of the new papers was a lovely surprise. The samples given out afterwards gave us all something to think about. Providing the costs are reasonable I would consider switching back to Epson's own papers straight away.
