'Barton Village Life' Photo Comp
We are looking for photographs featuring all aspects of Barton village life. Your pictures can include shots of people, buildings or landscapes. In fact, anything that illustrates the attractions of the village.
Images can be taken either on a digital camera or a mobile phone.
The competition is split into two sections:-
Under 18’s (on the closing date of the competition – 14 August 2010)
First prize—a year’s membership to SDCC or an Amazon gift voucher (worth £27.00).
Over 18’s (on the closing date of the competition – 14 August 2010)
First prize—a year’s membership to SDCC or an Amazon gift voucher (worth £27.00).
All images will be displayed at our 50th Anniversary Exhibition at Barton Village Hall on Saturday 11 September and at the Barton Festival’s Gala Day on Sunday 19 September.
In addition, the top three images in each section will be mounted and presented to their authors at the Barton Festival’s Gala Day on Sunday 19 September.
The featured prints will be given to the winners at the close of the Festival.
The competition is open to all residents of the village although we are unable to accept entries from professional photographers, members of SDCC or members of their families.
Entries will be judged by members of SDCC’s Exhibition Sub-committee and their decision will be final.
